“Weeds are flowers too, once you get to know them.”

Kalanchoes are low-maintenance houseplants and are very easy to care for and make a beautiful addition to your home plant collection with their small colorful flowers and succulent-like leaves. The plant blooms continuously for around 8 weeks and can be encouraged to rebloom again. This will be an adorable gift for your loved one to show your long-lasting affection for them.

Care Tips for Kalanchoe:
• They do not require much water, water only when the top few centimeters of soil have dried out.
• They require bright indirect sunlight, so keep them in a bright sunny spot inside your house.
• The flowering starts after 3 months of growth and lasts for around 3 weeks.
• When the flowers have started to fade, cut them to encourage further blooming.
• They are "short day" plants, so to get them to rebloom you need to give them 8 to 9 hours of daily sunlight for around at least a month and then keep them in a dark room or closet while watering sparingly. Two months later, you will see flower buds emerging.
